Sports Litigation

Since the beginning of his career, while he was a member of the Angers Bar, Christophe Larrouilh has been regularly consulted in sports law disputes, since he had the “Angers Basket Club” heavily condemned for the benefit of one of his professional player clients.

He then became the counsel of the SCO d’Angers, for which he won a decisive case for the survival of the club in the so-called “Adidas” case. At the same time, he was a lecturer in severa training sessions at the Centre de Droit et d’Economie du Sport in Limoges.

In the so-called “AS Cannes accounts” case, he obtained the only acquittal pronounced in favor of one of the co-defendants.

He regularly appears before the judicial bodies of FIFA and the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, on behalf of soccer players or clubs. In particular, he is the lead counsel of some of the biggest soccer clubs in Thailand and South-East Asia.

Contract negotiation

Christophe Larrouilh was for many years a licensed player’s agent with the French Football Federation (F.F.F.). He is now registered with the Paris Bar as a lawyer specializing in sport law.

He regularly advises players and clubs in the drafting of their contracts. He is currently involved in amendments to contracts between players and clubs related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
